Anyone else waiting until birth to find out the gender?

This is my 5th baby. Right now I have 2 boys and 2 girls. I opted out of gender reveal for my earlier bloodwork and I’m getting close to that exciting anatomy scan but I’m still gonna ask that it be kept a surprise. It’s the first time I’ve gone without finding out the baby’s gender and I love it and hate it at the same time. 
If you’re waiting until birth what made you decide to keep it a surprise? I think I need a little more convincing or I might cave at my anatomy scan. 🙈😅

This is our 4th and 4th surprise! We decided against it because A: there are so few true surprises in life and we have loved the surprises B: my friends have had so much gender disappointment, because you have months to be bummed, but it’s hard to be bummed when you are holding a miracle in your hands!

This is my 3rd and we've decided to wait. I think now that I've past 20 weeks where we would normally know by now, it's getting more exciting that there's still the possibility (in our minds) of either gender! Both my husband and I are so excited for him to be the one who tells me what we got 🥰

I had a pretty traumatic labor for my first and the excitement of finding out the gender at the end of a rough day was enough to clear my mind of everything. Also I got the presents that I wanted and not a bunch of blue and pink at my baby shower, another plus 😂

I have a boy and a girl already and this baby we decided to not find out until birth with this one! I had my 20 weeks scan a couple weeks ago and I told them I didn’t wanna know and then I also turned my head when they went to bottom because i know what it looks like down there 😅 It’s so exciting, I love it!

I’m also pregnant with my fifth and have two girls and two boys. My decision not to know gender until birth is to see if my gut is right lol 😂😂😂 this won’t be my first time I did it with my second and my gut didn’t let me down lol

This is our 3rd and our 3rd surprise. I love the pressure and opinions it takes off the pregnancy. Also the surprise when my husband gets to hold the baby for the first time and introduces me to our little person is such an amazing and bonding experience. We have a boy and a girl and stuff for each so so that's an added benefit.

This is our third and our first surprise! We already have a boy and a girl, so we thought it would be fun to be surprised with number 3! I have my anatomy scan next week and I’m hoping no one slips up and tells me. 😅 It’s exciting and fun to wait so far and I think it will add an extra bit of fun/excitement to the day our baby is born!

In your shoes i wouldnt find out either. I tried not to find out with my first but the doctor messed up and called my son a he 3 times before i gave birth. She always tried to cover it up but i still knew. Had to just continue pretending like i didnt know so no one bothers me. This time, i have no time or energy to play along. My OB seems to be bad at keeping it a secret eitherway. Giving birth, no one told me the sex. Just the time of birth. Its like they assumed i knew. So i decided to make life easy for everyone and find out. Also i want to celebrate in any way and since i wont have a shower, i will do a gender reveal instead.

There aren’t many secrets left in life - waiting to find out the gender is one of the best. This will be our second surprise gender pregnancy.
