What exactly does low AMH mean?

I have low AMH at 1.39 but I’m not quite understanding what AMH even is. Can someone explain it in simple terms and how it relates to IVF? Are my chances lower with IVF since my AMH is low? Thanks!!

Lower AMH could mean you would produce a lower number of eggs/embryos with an IVF cycle. But yours was much better than mine (0.8) and I got 4 PGT normal embryos with my IVF cycle and I’m currently pregnant from my second transfer.

Potentially is shows how many eggs you have left… but it’s not super accurate. I’ve had it tested twice and my numbers were not equal each time. And it does not mean you can’t get pregnant!
