Anyone else’s baby struggle with a sensitive gag reflex on here? :(

My son is almost 10 months old and only able to eat stage 2 foods which is mostly thick purées. He eats yogurt and baby snacks like dissolvable crackers. He is unable to swallow any solids no matter how soft it is! Every time something solid hits his throat he throws up! My dr doesn’t seem concerned and says he just has gerd and to just keep trying. It’s been a few months and not much progress. I’m so worried he’ll become super picky or omg worst eats purée forever!! Can anyone share their experience? I feel so alone with this because I haven’t met anyone with the same situation. Everyone else’s baby is eating so much solids. 😢😓
