Blood gender test for twins?

With my first pregnancy we did the blood test to find out the gender because there was one baby. Is there an early blood test for twins or do you have to wait for the anatomy scan?

I used materniT21 and it was accurate for both twins. 95.6% Boy and Girl. It was confirmed 👍 100% correct at our anatomy scan.

Just did this! It’s a company called Natera and they have a test called panorama. It’s so advanced now that it can tell you if they are fraternal or identical, the exact genders of each baby and also each individual fetal fraction. The horizon test is the one that looks at genetics. Your OB should be the one to send you for labs for it and it takes like 10 days for results. 
Mine said fraternal and each is a boy.

I knew from my second ultrasound that my twins are identical so I did Sneak Peak and it was correct. There’s also a genetic test your doctor can order that is specifically for twins.

We had genetic testing done and it was part of the bloodwork. Insurance didn't cover the bloodwork because it wasn't necessary and I think we paid about $300 but it was worth it for the piece of mind! I get a little paranoid about all of the genetic stuff. We got our results back in under a week and I asked the genetic counselor to call my mom and tell her what the genders were. We find out next Saturday at our gender reveal:)
