Blood Clot during BC !!

I’ve been on BC for about 6 months now and December through beginning of February, I tried skipping my placebo pills and just moving forward w the next pack of pills. I didn’t like how I was spotting while doing that so I finished the placebo pills of the pills and moved onto the feb pack. So it’s the end of that pack now and I’m on the placebo pills this week and I have heavy bleeding. Not period heavy but more than the usual bleeding you may get on BC. Period is typically more mucusy for me and BC bleeding is more blood. This morning I had big clot that came out and I have some pain like cramps in the lower abdomen area like it’s a period. Is this like normal??
