C-sections Infection

Hi everyone,

I just had an emergency c-section on Friday and my doctor thinks the it might be infected so she is going to check it out today because I've been experiencing yellow discharge from the incision. Anyone else experience similar? What was your outcome?

Is there anything else I can do to cope with the pain. I'm trying to take it easy but I also have a very active 4 year old at home. My doctor doesn't want to prescribe narcotics (nor do I want to take them) because I am breastfeeding. Any tips would be great. The hospital didn't really give me much information. I asked as many questions as I could think of while in the hospital but I've never had surgery before so this is all new to me.
