What kind of clothes did you wear after a C-section?

What did you find to be more comfortable, leggings? loose  dress?  also did you prefer high waisted underwear?
Is the incision covered with gauze when you leave?

Very high loose (couple of sizes too big) knickers 
Gauze on incision 
Loose maxi dress 
I couldn’t have possibly wore leggings, I didn’t want anything touching my incision

I wanted nothing touching my stomach.  I did cotton nightgowns/dresses and very loose high waisted granny panties.

Very loose comfortable lounge pants that I could pull up above the incision. Then I just wore the always discreet adult underwear for all the bleeding. Once that subsided I just wore my normal underwear

Mine had just like medical tape. I put a pad over the area inside my panties - high waisted panties are a must! The first few days I wore loose clothes but then I wore compression leggings day in and out.

Mine had butterfly bandaids on it. The mesh panties are good because they don’t stick to it but I don’t like them after day 2. Just big ole granny panties.

I wore my maternity leggins I came into hospital with. Most comfortable option I could have had. Maybe a dress would have been ok, but I gave birth in autumn, so I didn't know if the weather would have been warm enough, so I didn't pack it. (mind that I had to wash my maternity leggins in hospital, because coming in, my waters broke in the reception, so they were soaked trough 😂)

Mine was covered with some kind of gauze thick tape. I wore under the belly pantries. I didn’t want anything rubbing on my wound, and lived in loose dresses! I also wasn’t expecting to have a c section, so the minute we got home we ordered a changing table so I wouldn’t have to do a lot of bending which was a life saver. Google luck!
