Sperm analysis- azoospermia

Shelby

We had our second sperm analysis done today after 3 months on clomid for azoospermia.

Praying he made 1 little sperm to know he at least can. Im not asking for even a million, just 1!

I asked the andrologist that took the sample if they could test for fructose in the sample this time, since we it had not been on our original. She looked at me like she has never even heard that word and said no thats not an option. Am I crazy? Is this not a test that can be added on?

I read about it: Semen is tested for the presence of fructose. Fructose is contributed by the seminal vesicle and is normally present in semen. Absence of fructose in the semen, a low semen volume, and a low pH are indicative of an obstruction of the seminal vesicle.

I wanted to rule this out. Has anyone else been tested for it or is it not a thing?
