Confused about fetal Doppler 14 weeks

Des

Hey ladies, so I recently came by a fetal Doppler that I’m borrowing for a few days just to try it out. I know people say not to use it as it worries a lot of women. Well, I tried it out last night and picked up a whooshing sound that ranged from 130-150 but I also read online just a whooshing sound like that in those ranges are only the placenta and it should sound like galloping horses when you find the baby. I have been kinda of stressed because I’m so worried she’s not there anymore.

It’s a good sign that I got a reading of 150-170 though, right? Even if it was only the placenta? Would I have even gotten a reading of 150-170 if there wasn’t a baby?
