Pregnant announcement?

Are their women who didn't wait till 12 weeks to tell everyone they're pregnant? My whole family basically knows (thanks to my grandma 😒) and I'm kinda like whatever at this point and want to put it on social media!

I didn't see the point in waiting, I have no history of miscarriage or complications not even family history. I did want to at least get thru the 1st ultrasound just to make sure everything was looking good.

Ha! I was 4 weeks when I found out and my mother was the first person I told lets just say 24hours everybody know she posted it on social media everywhere lol I just was like whatever people are going to know anyway

I announced on social media at 9 weeks after our first ultrasound. And I will do it again early for our next! I personally don't understand the secrecy of the first trimester. Baby should be celebrated!

I told family at different times. Everyone kept the secret. By 12 weeks my siblings new (mom new the day I found out) at shy of 13 weeks we told my husbands family (they can't keep secrets) I didn't tell work until 17 weeks and posted on Facebook at 18 weeks.

Lol I actually knew at 3 weeks and waited until we were 9 weeks to tell his family and mine because I KNEW they would blab. I announced it at 13 weeks though. It was so hard, but my sister in law literally had two miscarriages within two months of each other the second one was right after we got pregnant. Both of them were when she was 10 weeks along so I really just didn't want to risk it.

My mom had a big mouth about it. She kind of rained on my parade about announcing it. I was the same way, but my sister got me out of my funk and we did an adorable announcement photo for Halloween because she really wanted the announcement photo and I'm sooo glad we did it. We announced at 9 weeks. Our doctor said as long as you've heard a good strong heart beat, it is safe to tell people because the chances of miscarriage are so low after that
