Is this prenatal okay ? I switched from pills to gummies because the pills made me sick, this prenatal doesn't have iron in it 😭

I take these and I asked my doctor specifically about the lack of iron. She says if any blood tests show anything abnormal then we’ll start an iron supplement but for now it’s ok. But of course I’d always ask your doctor what they think as everyone is different

I was using the Ollie gummies because they are easy on the stomach. My OB said this was ok, but as soon as I’m not so nauseous to switch to a pill. They said to take the prenatal tablet at night with a small snack to help with nausea. I am still pretty nauseous, but I am able to take this at night with a snack and I do ok. You can always add a side supplement of iron before bed.

Gummy vitamins tend to be incomplete in a lot if necessary vitamins (otherwise they wouldn’t taste good)
They’re fine temporarily while you’re sick but try switching back as soon as you’re able 
And remember vitamins are not a substitute for a nutrient dense diet

I always take a gummy prenatal because my iron levels are fine. I was actually taking a regular prenatal during my first pregnancy early in and ended up with iron poisoning because it was too much for my body. I know it’s rare to have that happen, but I’m just giving a different perspective. I personally don’t need the extra iron and the gummy is great for me.
