Looking for Job That Keeps Baby with Me

I'm a first time mom and just returned to work. I've been with my company since 2014 and the pay and benefits are great, but I feel like my soul is breaking because of the amount of time I spend away from my 3 month old son. All my shifts start in the early afternoon and I don't get home until about 9:30 at night. I expressed in my interviews I wanted a better work/life balance with the new position I took so I can be with my baby more and they said they understood. But it seems I'm getting the short end of the stick. What jobs could I do that still offer benefits and good pay but be more around my baby?
