Is 2,600 an average mortgage for 370,000 house?

First-time homebuyers here.  We have the verbal offer yadda yadda, going to sign the actual papers today.  We will be paying roughly 2,600 a month for mortgage.  Is this average or are we odd balls paying a ridiculous amount?  Forgive my ignorance too!  I have no idea about any of this

That’s hard to answer without knowing interest rate, taxes, insurance and mortgage insurance. But as others have said, there are online calculators and your lender should give you a breakdown of your payment. 
Is there any specific reason you’re going with an FHA loan program vs conventional? You’ll have mortgage insurance for the life of the loan with FHA whereas with conventional once you reach 80% loan to value, you can drop your mortgage insurance and in turn it’ll reduce your payment.

Whoever is handling your mortgage should tell you what your mortgage is going to be. I was told what my mortgage was going to be before we even made the offer. This was based on interest rate, down payment, property tax, and home owner’s insurance. Our mortgage ended up being for $365k and we pay $2800 a month. I also bought my house 3.5 years ago, so I have a higher interest rate.
