Can a strep throat go away on its own?

I really don’t want to take anymore antibiotics while Pregnant I read that most strep go away in couple of weeks Can that be my case ?

Strep is one bacteria I wouldn't test. I don't want to scare you but a friend of mine lost his mom to strep because she didn't get it treated and it turned into sepsis. Especially being pregnant, your immune system isn't at it's strongest. Go for antibiotics. Your baby will be ok.

That sounds way too risky in my opinion. There’s way more risk of complications from trying to let it get better on its own than just taking antibiotics.

If it’s truly strep, it needs an antibiotic. Untreated it can effect your heart

Nope. It will turn into rheumatic fever if untreated. Happened to me- comes with arthritis and it is NOT worth avoiding antibiotics for because if it moves on from that you’ll be on them for years 😭

I wouldn’t chance it . & as someone who used to get it quite frequently , it can wreak havoc on your body! The last time I had strep I ended up in the emergency room hooked to a heart monitor because my heart was beating way too fast trying to help my body fight the infection. 
With antibiotics , it’ll go away in about a week or less! I’d recommend the antibiotics! Especially because being pregnant already weakens your immune system , the infection could spread or get worse very easily.

Yes, but I wouldnt risk it though. Itll be extremely painful. 
I took antibiotics like every 2 months while pregnant with my last shes fine and very healthy and very much ahead. 
I have cvid and wasn't on immunoglobulins at the time.

Strep in the throat can spread easily to your lower respiratory system as well as lymphatic system. Can you replenish with prebiotics as you take antibiotics?
