Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone else has /had this experience and what advice you may have to help. My son is very strong willed, and he’s usually fairly happy. But lately when we go to indoor playgrounds if he sees a kid playing with a toy he wants he tries to take it from them immediately even if he has the same toy he wants theirs. We tell him not to take from the other kid and he keeps trying to go back even after we remove him from the area and try to redirect and distract him with something else. He has a tantrum and he just can’t get over it. We had to leave the indoor playground because he was not able to calm down and get past it. Has anyone else dealt with this? Or have any suggestions? He used to be fine with these types of situations but it just started over the last few weeks so I’m thinking this is something with his current development. But not sure how best to deal with it or how we will get through his 😂
