my babies dad cheated on me with over 10 females when we first got together and while I was pregnant. he ended up giving me 2 different std’s one while I was pregnant. was a complete ass hole. laid his hands on me still thinks to this day it’s ok to slap me. 
He’s acting like he’s changed and done so good for a while. (Besides slapping) but I don’t have it in me to trust him and he keeps getting mad cause I ALWAYS accuse him of cheating. I know by this point i do need to leave. But I’m scared I will never be financially stable for my child if we separate. My parents were not stable and it was hell for me. I don’t want to do that to my son. Please give advice and no judgments Ik I’m stupid for staying already. It’s hard.

You need to leave and see if you can get government assistance. He's never going to change and there is nothing stopping him from escalating the violence. He may slap you now but down the road he could kill you or your child. It's unacceptable. He should be in jail. For domestic violence. It's not a joke. You can take him to court for child support as well

I think you should truly evaluate your reasons for staying. You say you want stability for your child, but you don’t have that. Violence, infidelity, etc is not stability and is going to mess him up far more than struggling financially . Once you leave you can get back on your feet financially and raise him without all of this. As someone who grew up in this scenario, leave. It will get worse.

You will figure it out, without him. You don’t want your son to think this guy is a role model. Your relationship is anything but that. If you’re in the US, use your resources and all government assistance available to you. Not worth someone who disrespects you and abuses you. That’s not what you want your son to grow up around

Sorry I couldn’t keep getting stds and being with a man who cheated like it was nothing. I also would call the cops on anyone who put their hands on me….each and every time it happens. In order to make sure any kids I had I’d be able to care for on my own, I went to pharmacy school. That’s all you can do to make sure your son has everything he needs. It was worth the hard work and I’d do it all over again. Find a program that interests you and get to work.
