Rough recovery after egg retrieval?

Anyone else have a rough recovery? I’m on day 2 after my egg retrieval and I’m having a hard time. I have a mild case of OHSS. My stomach feels so stretched and we are past the discomfort it’s just pain now. Any tips or suggestions? I spoke to my doctor today and he’s prescribing me a different pain med.

I'm with you 😞 retrieval yesterday and I'm in so much pain I was about to head to the ER. I can't move, stand, walk, lay down, or anything without being at a 10/10. If I find a comfortable position to recline in, I can't move, but the pain does settle down. I can't take more than the most shallow of breaths without my lung/ribs searing! When I pee, everything shifts inside and it's excruciating. My clinic didn't mention anything of ohss or what to eat or drink at all.. feeling a little hopeless with this recovery.

Yes. My pain peaked around day 3 then got better from there. Overall it took me a solid week to recover.
