A rocky few weeks…

So…. I had a positive blood test for preg on 8 March, then had a really early couple of appointment with my OB on 11 and 17 March with ultrasounds. On 17 March I was 6 weeks and my OB announced to me she couldn’t see an embryo at all so it wasn’t a viable pregnancy. I’ve had 2 miscarriages in 9 months so she wanted to see me early and check.

Anyway, the next day, on 18th March (after tons of crying) I go see this OB surgeon to discuss what are my options to end my pregnancy (I had a medically terminating operation in November with him already 😞). And he does an ultrasound and says he won’t do the d & c cause it’s too early and he thinks he sees an embryo. So I had another appointment yesterday and turns out I have a healthy 7 week old pregnancy!! We’re super super happy (and cautious) but my partner is super pissed at our first OB. I’m not but I understand his reaction too as we basically mourned our pregnancy for a while unnecessarily! And we had to get an appointment with IVF teams and stuff too…

Anywaaaay just wanted to share this REALLY rocky beginning for us. Here’s hoping and praying my 7 week peanut holds on till November 🥰🥰
