Anybody suffers from fibroids?

Recently found out I have 2 fibroids in my uterus...wondering if anybody can give any advice on it...far as what helps to control size...and what do to for cramps...etc..

I had a fibroid removed in October. It was the size of a 1 year olds head!!! I was in hospital for 3 days and off work for 6 weeks.

I have a fibroadenoma but I believe it's fairly small. I never noticed it until I got on the depo shot and bled for 6 months straight! They did an ultrasound and found it. They didn't recommend removing it at that time. I was worried about my ability to conceive with it (I'm 33), but we literally got pregnant on our first try after I stopped the pill and my pregnancy and baby have been very healthy (I'm 35 weeks). Fibroids are very common and can cause complications of you have several and/or they are big but as long as hey aren't affecting your quality of life you can live with them. I'm honestly surprised your doc recommended depo. All my friends in the medical died are so freaked out by it and I've heard of so many people getting screwed up cycles. It was nice to not have to worry about taking a pill but I eventually stopped. I've heard too many excess hormones in your body can cause fibroids to grow. I got on a low dose bc pill

Am 37 Just had an ultrasound and look like I have a few one to many sigh 😤 only found out about fibroids while pregnant but misscarried am going for an MRI soon to really know how any, my fear is will I be able to have kids at least 1

I have fibroids and cysts.  I don't really have much cramping with them but my doctor said having an iud or something to lessen your periods will help he fibroid.

What test did you have done? How did you find out? Surgery is the most come way to get rid of fibroids. It depends on the size of them. What does your doctor advise?
