Essure Insertions....?

Has anyone had this done? It's permanent birth control. I'm considering it after I have this baby because we don't want anymore kids. We just want two! There are so many different options. Any advice would be helpful, or stories of other forms of permanent birth control.

Why not just have him get a vasectomy? Much simpler

I would have my husband have a vasectomy. It's much easier on them than anything for a woman which is far more invasive.

I had it done over 3 years ago and half years ago and the only issue I have is heavier more painful periods which I know is because I'm no longer on the pill. It was quick, done in my doctors office and the recovery time nothing, just light cramping for a day. It was the right decision for me and has been great, but definitely do your research, there are a lot of women who have severe problems.

I am a member of the Facebook group, and there is a ton of info on there. Thanks to those ladies I have been able to find that I have to get a hysterectomy at 24 due to issues and the fact that my doctor left 2 extra devices behind. Also, Bayer recently admitted that they can cause autoimmune disorders after sitting on that info for years.
