Getting induced

So we've made the decision on getting induced on my due date because my body is getting so torn down. Our little man is a perfect 7 1/2 pounds. Growing great and everything so our doctor suggested it. If anyone has been induced can you tell me about your experience so I have an idea of what may happen during the whole process. Also the good and bad things would be nice to prepare for.
