Break Up...

I've been with my boyfriend (ex boyfriend) for two years... We broke up in September and have been bestfriends. Long story short he said we can't be friends because he still loves me and is trying to get over me. He told me not to talk to him unless I'm in trouble. He said he won't speak to me till he's fit sure over me. It kills me cause I don't understand how you can walk away from two years of memories. How do I get over him... He was my bestfriend/ lover. How do you get over someone....
