Soda and pregnancy?

Soda and pregnancy? I have a fountain soda almost every morning since I got out of the first trimester. I've heard so many mixed reviews.... good or bad?

This is my third pregnancy. I’ve almost always had one Diet Coke a day. 🤷🏻‍♀️ No issues here. I also drink a lot of water. It’s all about balance. ☺️

I mean it’s definitely not the best but if you are still drinking plenty of water then I think it’s fine. I definitely had my fair share of soda with all my pregnancies. Just make sure you are keeping track of your caffeine intake.

My dr. Said 200mg of caffeine a day is fine. I occasionally drink a pop but usually have one cup of coffee in the morning.

Well let's face it soda is never ever "good" for you.   It's full of sugar at least and usually caffeign too. BUT it is also ok in moderation.  1 cup a day is not really a big deal.  About the same as if you had a cup of coffee with creamer.   A little more sugar than coffee little less caffeign so I wouldn't worry.

It’s not necessarily “soda” it’s more so the ones that contain caffeine, my Dr. told me I could have one soda a day to prevent caffeine migraines. I’m sure you’re fine, try caffeine free sodas
