Should I do it? ( Induced vbac )

So basically I have been wanting to try to have a vbac my entire pregnancy, I’m 39 weeks Monday and have an induction scheduled. I’m so over being pregnant at this Point I don’t care how he comes out. ( 1cm dilated last week) 
Baby was sunny side up last week, and doctor said an induction could up my chances of cesarean. But if I go through with induction my husband could use his vacation time (one week) to help me pp and still get paid 40 hrs. If not he’s have to go back 3/4 days, & no pay. Hospital is an hour away. I have a 3 year old to take care of also which will be hard if he goes back soon. I also just don’t want to be pregnant anymore !!! 
Please help! I really want to but I’m so nervous to decide !

I'm super opposed to getting induced. I'm trying for a vbac, but have decided if I need any medical intervention to just have a cesarean again. I have a 3 year old too and honestly that's the most stressful part for me (hoping friend can make it in time to watch my son so I have my husband for support). 
This all said... I think there's growing research that induction doesn't increase risk of repeat cesarean. However, baby being sunny-side up definitely does 😬look into spinning babies!  I think it's worth trying for an induction though to optimize husband's paid vacation time :/ sad we have to consider that, but if it came to it I'd probably consider induction for same reason.

I’m 39+ 3 and on hour 36 of a “medically necessary” induction. I have hypertension, but my bp has been great this whole pregnancy so I don’t understand the need. I wish I would’ve fought this induction. My body isn’t ready and I’m now on round 2 of pitocin - that’s doing absolutely nothing. I’m terrified to end up in c section BECAUSE they pushed me into this. My advice is don’t, but I also know women who’ve had beautiful inductions so it just depends on the momma.

I wouldn't, and actually, personally did not. My vbac I waited for spontaneous labor and it was WORTH it. I went into labor naturally at 40+5 weeks, and it was so much less painful than my first birth, which was am induction. Your body doesn't release the right hormones during induction with pitocin, which also doesn't cross the blood brain barrier, meaning no real oxytocin, no real pain relief from your body. It also holds the uterus in more of a constant contraction, which is why it raises the risk of uterine rupture. Whereas with natural labor, right before a contraction, your body releases a LARGE dose of oxytocin, which gently builds the fundus, and that oxytocin helps you manage the pain, as well as helps baby! Pitocin often causes distress because of the way the uterus never actually relaxes.
I highly recommend waiting. But it is your body, so it's of course your choice! It is hard feeling so done with pregnancy. But I promise, it's so worth it to wait!
