Laboring at Home

Whew! A couple years ago I didn’t get to experience the waiting game to go to the hospital with my son due to being induced at almost 39 weeks due to preeclampsia. At 7pm I started feeling contractions pretty strongly and they felt just like the contractions I had the hours before my epidural with my son. They’re averaging 6.5 mins apart the past hour. Trying to hold out to about 5 mins so I don’t have my mom come over in the middle of the night to stay with my toddler…just to be sent home from L&D.

I had a membrane sweep Monday right at 39 weeks. Doctor scheduled me for induction for this Monday right on my due date. Looks like we won’t be needing that. 🙂
