What age did your child go to a toddler bed?

I have a 1 year old. Just wondering when to make the transition. Should I wait until she starts walking?

Omg, keep them in the crib as long as possible. Most toddlers can safely stay in their crib until they’re at least 36 inches tall. At that point they could physically climb out if they wanted to, but most still don’t for a while! Usually people will transition sometime between ages 2 and 3 (typically closer to 3).

1st: 21 months 
2nd: 13 months
3rd: is 10 months old right now and will probably be in his crib similar to the length of my first. 
I just looked for signs of them being ready. My second IS super independent and was climbing out of her crib so we needed to change to toddler bed at 13 months.

My son was 2 and 3/4 when we put him in a toddler bed. He loved his crib but loves lightning mcqueen bed more lol. Also it was better for potty training.

We slowly transitioned our 19 month old in to a twin floor bed. She was really hating her crib and bedtime was getting more difficult. Now that she’s in a floor bed, she sleeps so well. Every child is different though.

He went from his crib into a double at 2.5

2.5 and still going strong! Plan to move him when he gets too tall. We still have about a foot or so to go.

We transitioned our daughter when she tried to climb out of her crib and face planted (she was fine just had some rug burn on her forehead). She had just turned 2 at the time.

1st was just over two. We had gone on vacation and she slept on a bed and then wanted to continue. I would have k  we pt her in the crib longer but husband wanted to switch her.
2nd started climbing out at 21 months so he got switched.
I’d keep the crib as long as possible! Less worry about them getting into things in the night.
