Anyone suffering from endometriosis?

Hi girls! I have endometriosis, every period is a torture, every few hours - painkillers, otherwise pain becomes so strong that i can't handle this, it goes to the level of vomiting and etc. not fun!so i was wondering do you take painkillers or you use something else?

Perhaps take something with methocarbomal (a muscle relaxant) added. There are plenty OTC options but the most recognizable is Robaxacet. Take the one with ibuprofen as the pain reliever (instead of acetaminophen) and slap a heat pad/hot water bottle on your belly and you'll likely feel some relief. If that doesn't work ask for a prescription for the pain such as Ponstan. Word to the wise, avoid taking more than 500mg of methacarbomal at one time...usually causes mega drowsiness in most people I know!

I suffer from dysmenorreha and it's pretty much the same horrible roller coaster ride each month. Seems like I get worst each year. I actually missed class today because of the pain and nausea I was feeling. I often take Ibuprofen.

I was prescribed Naproxen (an NSAID) for years and it did help but I was worried about possible side effects for long term use. I started taking a homeopathic remedy called colocynthis and it's great. Every few months it can be unbearable for a day or two so I will take extra strength Advil if needed.
