How are you/did you teach your child their letters?

Flash cards along side constant talking, everything I do or everything I see when I'm with them I spell it out for them. We play games like "who can see the d-o-g", "where is the b-i-r-d" and my kids took really well to that. To the extent where I can be looking for the mop to clean the floors and think "Where's the m-o-p" 🙄😆

Combo. Books, puzzles, alphablocks on youtube, singing abc's, phonics games etc

We did an abc puzzle, abc books and ABC songs on YouTube. My oldest liked the songs the most. It is really about what song or video catches their attention.

Crafts and abc mouse videos. We watched the video then did our craft. We started with the letters in her name so she could see pretty quick that letters made words.

Puzzles, we have alphabet magnets, books, and TV. My son is obsessed with super simple songs on YouTube and they teach alphabet and numbers. He's known his ABCs and numbers since he was one. Now he's starting to learn to spell and identify numbers and letters at 2.5 😊 He also goes to Montessori and they focus on a new letter each week.

We did books and puzzles mostly. She learned her letters early on. Flash cards she would have destroyed in no time

Constant singing and repetition. Mostly in the car. Once she has the alphabet down and is comfortable  we will work on letter recognition
