Birth plans & hospital bags??

So I'm of the belief that my birth plan will forever be penciled in lol. I sure didn't expect to need IVF to conceive so I sure as hell don't foresee my plans for birth going the way I want them to 😅😅😅

Having said that, what are you all tossing around? I know things vary country to country, too, so feel free to throw those out there (love learning cultural differences- I'm so fascinated by them).

I'll throw a few of mine out:

*We are delaying cord clamping as long as possible. We're not cord banking. This was a long, drawn out decision for us.

*I'm considering placenta encapsulation and will be reaching out to company when I get back from vacation. If I'm Strep B positive, I'm declining and will likely donate the placenta to science.

*I'd prefer no induction unless absolutely necessary and am going to try to go at it naturally. But, my actual plan is to completely wing this. If I want the drugs, I want the drugs 🤷‍♀️😂. Same with induction, I'm uncomfortable now so I may just dive at the chance to be induced rather than wait it out lol.

*I'm also hoping to be able to move and eat freely throughout my labor.

There's just a few of mine. I'd love a waterbirth but can't do that at my hospital so boo on that! I think I may actually transition to a midwife for baby #2 if we decide to go that route. But we'll see.

Anyway, I'm interested to see what you guys are planning! Have you all planned your hospital bags and such yet? Also what are your thoughts on Perineal Massage? I'm still trying to determine if that's beneficial or complete BS.
