Constantly sick baby from daycare?

Question

This is my son’s third time being sick and he just started daycare…
Im beyond exhausted and I understand they get sick alot but this much?!?
Do I just pull him out of daycare?
His doctor said its so normal and let it run its course, dont pull him out
But jeeez im tired.
As a single mom i have to work so its been constant dropping him off to my moms who watches him for a week or so. He gets better. Then aagain
The mom guilt is SO real. I feel like the worst mom ever😞

Unfortunately it doesn't get better for a while.. don't pull him, but expect sicknesses for a few years.

I work at a daycare and sickness happens A LOT. I take my children with me and I am constantly having to leave because they get sick. Between December and January my kids were sick with pink eye, hand foot and mouth, a cold, the flu, and ended with ear infections. I know it gets frustrating but I’ve had my kids there since they were babies and by the time they turned 3 they stopped getting sick so often

My son got sick literally every three weeks for about a year and now he is good and he's almost three. I have heard if they don't get sick from daycare they will not have built up any immunity and when they get to kindy or school they will be constantly off sick.

My daughter started nursery at 3 years old. She was sick basically every day for the first few months. They just gotta push through and build that immune system. They will get over it.

I was a single mom working 50 hours a week and my son was 1-1.5 at the time , he was sick NONSTOP . Pink eyes, croup, stomach flu, hand foot and mouth. Literally non stop and it was from daycare. People bringing their sick kids to daycare. Moved and took him out of daycare and switched to a small in home daycare and he stopped getting sick completely. Only once in a while instead of once a month

My daughter started kindergarten this year, first time in school and she’s been sick more than I can even count ( not really ) but it has been a nightmare! She’s sick atleast once a month, and sometimes way more within a week after getting better. It’s horrible! So I feel your pain! My youngest starts Prek this upcoming school year, and im dreading it!! Some people say it takes a few years for their immune system to get strong so hopefully it gets better! Just know your not alone 😩

Same with us. I’m a FTM with no family near by and my husband is deployed. On top of that I have an eczema baby who i recently found out had a major peanut and egg allergy. It has been ROUGH. She has been in daycare for 6 months and had at least 10 fevers since then plus a constant runny nose and cough, she just got over a bad double ear infection that lasted 6 weeks and had hand foot mouth. It’s awful. I can’t imagine how parents handle this. I’m at my breaking point also.
