No period…negative pregnancy test

Reneé

This infertility journey with PCOS is starting to take a toll on me. Some days I have faith and then others I’m depressed (but I put on a smile on the outside). IUI is our next option (which we’ve met with a specialist), but my health insurance doesn’t cover that and financially, this month just doesn’t work for us. We’ve already received what our treatment plan would cost (without adding the cost of meds), but $1800 for a 50% chance of it working just doesn’t sit right with me. I don’t want to do 3 cycles of IUI only to be told that we have to do IVF. At that point I would just give up because that is definitely not in our budget. I’m still holding on to getting pregnant naturally, but it’s just not working. I haven’t seen my period in 60 days, which I had been “regular” since May 2021 thru January 2022. I didn’t get a period in January, but saw it early February. Nothing in March and here we are in April. I’m just tired of not trying and trying altogether.
