Any one else hate this

Anyone else hate when grandparents don’t make time to visit their grandchildren but make an effort to go to friends houses to party? It was always one sided, us always making an effort for our babies to see them. Not no more I’m done making an effort I’m not going to force anyone to be in my kids lives. They’re the ones missing out in my opinion. Just because you buy them things or make a birthday for them doesn’t mean anything. Making time to see them and play with them just making a presence is everything. Then post them on their social media’s as they see them or really care about them. Sorry but if you can make an effort to go to bars, friends houses to drink then you can make an effort to see your grandchildren. It hurts I can’t lie but that’s why I’m putting an end to it. I know she’s probably going to want to throw my baby girl her birthday party soon but I’m not going to accept it. It’s just sad to me that I realized they weren’t as important to them as I thought, 🥺😩 sorry this is all over the place just want to rant. So thankful my parents make sooo much effort to see and ask about them.
