So my ob/gyn didn’t want to do anything about my spotting or short luteal phase and sent me to a fertility doctor. Fertility doctor tells me I need <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> after my HSG and walks out of the room without explaining anything and the other staff tell me I need to make a “what’s next” appointment after having previously told me the doctor was going to explain all my test results after the HSG. From what I can tell, most of my test results are normal for my age but also that I have low ovarian reserve. Neither doctor has wanted to discuss with me the possibility of a hormonal imbalance and both seem to go straight to the most invasive things they can think of. I’m so frustrated and feel like they’ve wasted 4 months of my time when my reproductive window is rapidly closing. I’ve an appointment elsewhere next month but really losing hope. Also, have any of you had issues with ovulation the month you did an HSG? I should’ve ovulated by now but definitely haven’t.
