Baby’s formula milk out of stock

My baby’s formula is out of stock in all the pharmacies where I live, they said they don’t know when they will  bring it again! She was drinking the similac pro sensitive. I tried giving the similac gold but she didnt like the taste and refused to drink! What should I do? :( shes a year and 3 months

Your child should not be drinking formula at this point take it as a reason to quit. Your child should be getting nutrition from food on top of that there are also multiple women who half babies that are still dependent on formula. To be honest if you buy formula you're just contributing to the shortage when your child does not actually need it.

Formula is not required after 1. You can offer any milk of your choice! 
Milks not even required if they are getting enough calcium and vitamin through other foods.

Have you thought about using this as a time to wean her from formula? At her age, if she’s eating a well balanced diet, she wouldn’t really need it for nutrition anymore.

I don’t remember reading anywhere in her post where she asked y’all’s opinions about her child’s age 🙄 It’s recommended to continue formula until 15-18 months if babe is a stubborn eater. Anyways, Similac pro sensitive has a toddler formula called Go and Grow sensitive, and enfamil has a very similar sensitive formula. All generic sensitive formulas are also produced by the same company so it’s the same every store brand

They would only need formula at that age if the doctor has recommended it. If they have, ask them for samples. If they haven’t, switch her to milk and water and all the foods you eat.

So I don't know if you daughter has any health diagnosis that make her need formula but at her age she should have water or whole milk. Formula should of stopped at 1 year if she doesn't have a medical diagnosis

I'd find a formula that's closest to what you've been giving or drive to a further store. During covid when everyone was going crazy and buying up all the formula, I was able to call the company and they sent me a few sample containers. It unfortunately didn't show up until after I needed it, but it still helped.
