My parents has always preferred boys over girls. Then, when I got pregnant with my 1st born, my in-laws repeatedly told me how much they wanted a grandson. But, I gave birth to a daughter instead. They were disappointed, but have now come to love her more than ever. She is the sweetest and most loving girl you'll ever met! She would constantly tell us how much she loves us, likes to give us thousands of kisses and hugs every day, and her favorite catch phrase is "I love you to the moon and all the way back to Earth!" She is almost 4 and loves taking care of her baby brother (reading, playing) as well.

Tonight as I was cleaning her up getting ready for bed after a long and tiring day, she gave me a kiss and then said, "Thank you for everything mommy. I love you to the moon and all the way back to Earth." I swear my heart melted right there and then, and all the tireness seemed to disappear in an instant. I dont care what anybody think, to me my daughter is more precious than anything in the world!
