So I got this tattoo to honor my (still alive) grandparents. My Mamaw's favorite bird is a Cardinal, and my Papaw's is a Blue Jay. I drew the tattoo, and I told the tattoo artist many times the bird types. He confirmed he knew there colors of the birds. So he did the Cardinal first, and I loved it, he did such a great job. Then came the Blue Jay. I don't know what happened but it's not the right color, something is off. Blue Jays have grey beaks, and that blue is just not Blue Jay blue. I also feel like he blew out in a couple places with the black. By the time I realized the color mistake it was already too late and I didn't want to be rude. He's the owner of the best tattoo shop in our town and I just had a lot of faith in him cuz he's usually pretty good.

The people I know are having mixed reactions. Some think my tattoo is so good, others don't like it. I like it, don't get me wrong, I'm just a little disappointed with the Blue Jay

I don't know what to think, I need your help. Is the tattoo ok or bad? 😬
