Time for own room.
Our daughter is nearly 6 months old and is starting to out grow the next to me crib, we tried her in her own room in her own cot for the past 2 nights. The first night was OK, woke up a couple times grumbling but fell back to sleep quickly. Last night woke up around 8 times and stayed awake from 4.30am (she has slept through the night since about 12 weeks and usually wakes for the morning from 7.30am) which is unlike her, she didn't even wake much when she went through the 4 month regression, maybe like 2 nights so it's very unlike her. She's not ill, not teething or anything like that, fed and clean and dry. Does anyone have tips on how to make the transition a bit easier for her? Since being in her own room we tried a night light and white noise machine for the first time. I don't whether to sleep in her room on a camp bed for a couple times so she knows I'm there? I'm not sure at all really this is our first child so I welcome any helpful tips 😊
