Chlamydia

I had it back in September. Got treated fairly quickly. But I TTC this month and failed. Now have my period. I did have a pelvic ultrasound due to a cyst but I’m wondering if my tubes got damaged because of this. Smh. I had sex on the right days…. Also, got pregnant the first try with each pregnancy

I wouldn't think so. Yes chlamydia can damage reproductive organs but it would have needed to go untreated for a long time. I had it as a teen. And for about 4 months myself and my doctor thought it was a reoccurring yeast infection as the symptoms were literally the same. It was only after the 4th month did she decided to do an std panel (I was 17 and had one boyfriend who I was with for over two years). Ended up coming back positive for chlamydia. My boyfriend was cheating on me. I haven't had a problem conceiving. But I obviously wasn't trying to get pregnant at 17.

And that's regardless of you have had other pregnancies and got pregnant sooner than that. Sometimes it just happens that way

Well if there are no signs of PID I literally wouldn't worry. Plus it can take healthy couples a year or a little more to conceive. And it may not even be you who has a problem. I wouldn't worry

I just had a pelvic ultrasound for a cyst, and no sign of PID which I heard is the only way it can cause damage. So I’m hoping I’m good

I know you said you got pregnant on your first try with your other but it’s still a very low chance for a normal couple! Only around 30% at most.

Yeah it’s just weird how I actually tried this time soooo much and nothing!
