Any Mom’s back to work yet?

I go back 2 weeks from Monday, thankfully it will be from home & my mom will watch the baby while I work in my office. I still am really stressed that my mom will mess up my nap routine & not watch her wake windows… I am so blessed to be able to work from home. Just wanted to see if any more moms have started working again and how it’s going!

Went back to work last week, only working Friday to sundays so my mum can help, miss him so much when I’m working lucky it’s only 5.5 hour shifts

My husband and I both work from home and have a 3yr old as well as our newborn. I take breaks often to feed our newborn and put him down for his nap which I usually just wear him for and my husband and I switch off on toddler duties. There were a couple of times when my mom was able to watch our first born when I was working and I would always just text her to remind her when to feed her and put her down. Or, you could also program some alarms on your mom‘s phone for feeding and sleeping. Often times, I would text my mom and say “she can go down anytime from now to a half an hour “. And then she would say something like “oh I was wondering why she was getting fussy!” I’m a control freak when it comes to my kids sleep schedules because I don’t get a full nights sleep if they don’t and then no one is happy the next day haha. Taking 30 seconds during work to text shouldn’t be a big deal! 🤗 that’s so cool that your mom is able to do that!!

Yes, part time and I’ve still played hookie 2x this week lol. I used to love my job but now I absolutely DESPISE working and leaving her.

Same situation! I work from home and we have parents watching. I definitely stressed schedule importance and I halfway keep an eye on what they’re doing so I can say hey she needs to sleep now or whatever if they’re behind. Just expect that things will be a little off and LO might not sleep as good on babysitting days but that’s ok - the schedule is just a guide and what’s important is that LO gets some grandparent time too!

I’m going back next week but only 3 days and my mom will be with baby boy and my daughter is 2.5 years old she goes to daycare those days. I’m trying not to think about leaving my baby but I’m grateful that it’s only for 3 days.

I went back two weeks ago and I'm working a hybrid model - 2 days teleworking, 3 days in the office. My mom watches her on my days in the office. I just hammered it into her that she needs to stick to our routine and support what ive been doing. But it's nice that you'll still be home so you can check on your mom during breaks.
