Low lying placenta vaginal delivery
I had a complete previa at 22 weeks but now at 34 weeks my placenta is 1.7cm away from my cervix. Most docs want it to be at least 2cm away from the cervix before allowing a vaginal delivery. My OB says that’s old school and too conservative and he’s comfortable with me trying a vaginal delivery. But if he’s not on call…I could likely end up with a c-section. Anybody deliver vaginally with low lying placenta? How did it go?
