Still in shock

Friday 04/08/2022 I started feeling pressure around 8:30pm and then waves of contractions. I dilate fast so I didn’t wait around. They hooked me up at 9:20pm and came in at 10 to check me I was only a 2/3 dilated 100% effaced. I sat up and spread my legs and leaned over and my water broke on the floor my partner said did u just pee yourself? I said hell nah better go get someone it was my water! They came in and I was a 7. The whole time I’m screaming I can’t do this I can’t do this I need medicine please someone help me!! They get my fluids going and rush me to the delivery room. At 11:30 they tell me it’s time to push and I started crying because I still haven’t had any meds. Body was so hot they ripped my gown off and fanned my body. They kept telling me to breathe and I said that shit don’t work. The midwife who wasn’t my dr said well that shit may not work but that’s the only shit we have right now! I said I’m pushing so hard ima puke so they gave me the bag. I never puked tho I pushed and felt my son enter my vagina and all I could say was he he he he and they said he is here and I said yes. I had to hold my own knees back so from 8:30 to 11:47 was my labor from start to finish my son came at 11:47pm and I was traumatized! But thankful to hear that first cry!
