Do you let your baby watch tv?

Yep lol. Sometimes I just need a break and a cup of coffee. I don't see anything wrong with it, to them it's probably just a bunch of moving colours and noise 😊

Welp, guess I'm the bad Mom! Hah! 
My bud loves the stimulation from the colors/noise/music.  I'll have him watch while he has a bottle or while he is laying on the floor. We can only babble and play on the floor/tummy time for so long. Once he is more interested in toys and grabbing/can independently keep himself occupied then he won't need screen time.

Noo, I always catch her trying to look at it so I turn it off when I see her looking. I've heard babies shouldn't watch tv until after 2 years old, but that seems like a really long time to wait!

I find my son gets overstimulated if he stares at the tv, then he struggles to go to sleep. So even if I'm sitting in front of the tv I try not to let him face it, and we keep the volume soft, just while he's a little baby...it's a lot of stimulation that he can't filter out yet, all that sound/light/colour!

Yeah my son loves it. I'm hoping to limit it when he can play more with toys. When do you think we should avoid adult type shows? Like the walking dead for example....I mean my LO is 3.5 months, at what point do you think the content of the show is important?

Ours will look at the TV while we are watching, he likes the lights and colors. But I don't put on cartoons and set him in front of it. He has lots of activity stations we rotate through to occupy him.

I have it on when I feed him but he's only 3 months I don't think he needs any tv time yet.

Mine likes to watch TV though I don't deliberately put him in front of it. At night sometimes if I need to calm him I play a Little Baby Bum video on my phone (YouTube). He loves them. When he's overtired and crying it's a good way to get his attention for 5-10 minutes to calm down otherwise if I try to shush him etc he just fights it and we get nowhere.
