I’m hoping other new mom’s have been in my position.Basically I had my baby via emergency section(Failed Induction) on third week of January.I am a new first time mom & baby is just amazing❤️I’m 38 years old so having my first this late I knew I wasn’t going to take long term birth control after having her(Although I knew I was most definitely going on birth control for minimum of one year)My partner & I are completely happy to try for number 2 when she turns one.Anyway,While I was at my 2 month check up-I requested the pill as I had eliminated the bar/coil etc as these are longer methods of birth control.Both my doctor & nurse suggested the Depo shot which I have never had before…..I had questioned it but they said in my circumstances it would suit best so I went ahead & took it.Well that was in March 23rd & it was the first day of my period from birth.I’d assumed I’d bleed a bit as my body adjusts which I have since but this week I’m completely flowing like more then even after I had my baby girl.I have no idea if this is normal or some kind of delayed flow from birth or actually from the shot but I’ve also looked through a few different posts online & I’m concerned about the effects of this shot.I knew nothing getting it & was reassured it was fine.Can anyone guide me or advise me as to what may be happening or what I should do?Im a little worried at this stage
