Need advice

So my boyfriend and I are TTC, obvs cause I’m in this group. I don’t ever get my period, and don’t ovulate. My doctor prescribed me progesterone to induce my period and then gave me clomid to take on day 4. (Might I add I’m on metformin 500mg currently too). The first round was unsuccessful so she told me that she was going to give me another round but if it was unsuccessful she would refer me to IVF.

Isn’t there anything else I can try or do before going the IVF route? She did an internal ultrasound - everything looks fine minus the cysts on my ovaries. She’s told me my condition isn’t that severe. I’m confused. Based on what you guys have been told, is there anything I can maybe bring up to her before she refers me out?
