Induced at 37 weeks. Thought? Advice?

So I've asked this question a few weeks ago but I'm still wondering on what to do and what's gonna be safe. 
I'll know more this Friday if I'm getting induced either next week or when I turn 39 weeks. I am 36 weeks and 5 days as of today. My doctor wants to measure the baby through ultrasound this Friday to see if she's gaining any weight because a few weeks ago she was measuring at 4lbs and 6oz and in the 9th percentile, he said if she's not gaining any weight by now they want to induce me next week sometime. This is my 2nd baby and I have never got induced, before my first was 6lbs and 7oz at exactly 40 weeks my water broke on its own and I did everything naturally which I was hoping to do again with my daughter. 
I guess what I'm asking for is advice, opinions, anything. I don't even know what to expect. And I'm a little scared! 
I understand if she's not gaining any weight in me to get her out and start making sure she does gain weight. Has anyone else had this problem? I know it's my choice if I wanna be induced or not but I'm thinking that if she's not gaining any weight the best thing for her is to get her out to make sure she can. 
Some people are telling me not to be induced and she'll come on her own, then some people are saying to do it and doctors don't just induce women because they want to, It's obviously for a reason. I'm just stuck because I don't know what to do?!

If I were you I would write down any and every question you have and ask your doctor before you decide. I tend to agree that a good doctor wouldn’t schedule you for an induction for no reason, but it’s still always good to ask “what are the risks if I agree to this?” And “what are the risks of waiting a few more days? A week?” You and your partner need to sit down and weigh those risks and see what you think will be best. 
For me, I decided to agree to an induction at 40w3d because I had too much amniotic fluid and the risk of my water breaking on its own outside of the hospital increased the risk of umbilical cord prolapse and I wasn’t comfortable risking that happening. The induction wasn’t nearly as scary as I thought it was going to be, however the induction failed as I never dilated past 3 cm. I did end up needing a c-section, which also wasn’t nearly as scary as I thought it would be. In the end, you have to do what’s best for your family.
