Husband accidentally gave my 19 month old 4ml of kids benedryl she is 30 lbs but I’m slightly freaking out bc the bottle says not to give to babies what would u do

Literally fine. For her weight she can actually take more. As I said on your previous post about this, I just gave my 15 month old 25-26 lbs 5 ml tonight. Google the dosage chart.

Does her pediatrician have an after hours number? I’d give them a call first.

Based on her weight, she should be ok. If ever in doubt about these things, calling poison control is a good idea.

We give Benadryl to kids all the time at my office for allergic reactions. That’s a little over for her age but not by much. doubt it will harm her. Call dr on call or poison control to double check if you’re nervous

My son is 26lbs and 16 months and he had what we think is an allergic reaction, not sure to what. He broke out in a rash on his face. The ped recommended 5mLs of childrens Benadryl for him.
