Would you change when you try to conceive bc your due date is around best friends wedding?

Question

My husband and I have been planning to start trying for our 3rd the end of April/ early May. My best friend from high school asked me to me a bridesmaid in her wedding which is Feb 11th. If we do get pregnant when we planned, due date would be (around) Feb 4th. Would you hold off on getting pregnant so it doesn’t interfere with the wedding? Or try as planned since this is what my husband and I have talked about for the past 6 months?

I mean you can’t exactly get pregnant whichever month you want.
If it happens it happens, if it doesn’t it doesn’t🤷🏻‍♀️
I would just keep trying and see what happens.
I wouldn’t put my life on hold for someone else

Nope. I was 8.5months pregnant at my friend's wedding as a bridesmaid. 
My family planning is about when it's right for my partner and I, not other people.

I’m my opinion there is always one bridesmaid that ends up being pregnant lol. 
It happen in my bridal party! The only thing we had to do is get her a slightly different dress that allowed room for bump.  
Don’t put your life on hold for anyone….

This is probably going to get hate, but if you get pregnant next cycle, you likely won’t even be able to attend her wedding because you’ll have just had a baby a week before. If you want to be there for her wedding, I would hold of trying until the next month. Then you’ll only be 8 months pregnant during her wedding and can be there and be a bridesmaid as well. One month isn’t that big a difference. It’s obviously completely up to you, but consider that you may not feel well enough to go physically that soon after having a baby, and you also may not be mentally ready to either leave your baby with someone else or bring them with you. Also if you’re breastfeeding, you’ll likely have to pump while at the wedding and reception (I had to do this at my friend’s wedding after my first was born). Consider all of those things and then make your decision with your man. Hope this helps

When we started ttc we ended up experiencing unexplained infertility and had to go through multiple rounds of fertility treatments in order to have our babies. Having had that experience, I wouldn't put my family planning on hold for anybody. If we want to grow our family, we're going to start trying as soon as we're ready, because a million things could happen. Your friend should be supportive and understanding if you do get pregnant and either can't be at her wedding (if you're due around then) or will be pregnant during. I personally wouldn't put my life on hold for somebody else, but honestly it's all about your priorities

Um definitely not, you being pregnant changes NOTHING besides you probably not drinking at the wedding. It’s YOUR life, doesn’t revolve around everyone else, that has been the plan so stick to it.

I mean chances are you probably wouldn’t get pregnant the first month anyway unless you’re really lucky, so I wouldn’t bother waiting. Being due around the wedding would be a bit inconvenient, but not the end of the world. And if you’re 8 months pregnant or less at the time of the wedding, it doesn’t really matter...the part that would sort of bother me would be if I were due around the wedding and possibly be incredibly uncomfortable and tired, or potentially have to miss the wedding altogether.
