Anyone have an insane amount of crotch lightening?

For my own curiosity what does it come from/why does it happen? I'm 37+3 currently

Lightning crotch is caused by baby moving further down into your pelvis. And yes I have been having it like crazy, I'll be 35 weeks on Monday.

I did with my first baby almost my whole third tri! Hardly had any at all with my second baby

It’s so painful to walk I’m 37 weeks baby’s head is super low, it just puts pressure on your pelvis and certain nerves 
So uncomfortable 😅

It's from the weight of baby and baby moving down lower
