Hi guys! Need some help. Want to name our little girl Lily Grace, but as someone who is not religious at all, I feel like Grace is only a Christian name. Is it?

I think Grace and Gracie are very cute names. I would still use them even as a not religious person because grace is something that we can offer to each other and to ourselves, it's not just something a God can offer. The most gracious moments that I've experienced in life came through non-religious family members and the grace that I give myself rather than being hard on myself when I don't measure up. So I say go for it! And not just because it's my own middle name lol

Grace is a word, a collection of letters. Mary is technically a religious name, as is Joseph. And I'm sure not everyone with those names are religious. I see no issue naming your child Grace and not practicing a religion.

No it’s not only religious. But who even cares what others think? It’s your baby. Someone suggested that I shout the baby name I liked at the top of my lungs. Do you still like the sound of it? Cuz you will prob yell that name ten million and a half times thru her childhood. I’m only jk. Sort of. 😂 Anyway, my sons father is named Isaiah. I’m Rachel. Our son is Gabriel. All three are biblical names. Neither of us are religious in the slightest bit.
