How would you pronounce Alyse?

Long story short My husband and I have had a hard time agreeing on a name doe our second daughter. Today we finally agreed to do a play on our middle names. Problem we run into is my middle name is Elise, which I love, but our first daughter's name is Ellie and we really don't want to have two E names. So I thought of Alyse or Alise, but when I look it up numerous people say that thay would pronounced it Alice which I'm not about.

So my question is, if you seen Alyse, how would you pronounce it? Or does any one have suggestions on a play on Elise without the "E" ?
